Several victims of Vinnytsia attack airlifted to Lviv

Two people who were wounded in the missile strike on Vinnytsia have been taken by helicopter to a burns unit in Lviv. Another patient is on their way, and two others are being prepared for transportation.

Quote from Borzov: "Two wounded people have already been taken by helicopter from Vinnytsia to Lviv, to the burns unit. Another patient is on their way.
Two seriously wounded people are being prepared for transportation."
Details: According to Borzov, this decision was made on Saturday during a visiting consultation of specialists from the Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology, the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery, and the Kolomyichenko Institute of Otolaryngology (ENT).
Morhunov said that 67 injured people are still in hospital. 14 of them are in serious condition, and 4 are in critical condition.
He also said that Israel is ready to help the wounded with prosthetics, and the Czech Republic has offered to provide treatment.
Background:
- On the morning of 14 July, the Russians hit the centre of Vinnytsia with missiles, causing fires to break out. According to various sources, there were between 2 and 4 explosions. According to Serhii Borzov, the head of Vinnytsia Oblast, 4 more missiles over the region were shot down by air defence forces.
- The President’s Office reported that the Russians carried out the strike on Vinnytsia with Kalibr missiles released from a submarine in the Black Sea.
- Russian representatives have changed their story about the consequences of the missile strike on Vinnytsia three times.
- As of 16 July, employees of the State Emergency Service have rescued 3 people from the rubble at the site of the missile strike on Vinnytsia. The fate of one person is unknown. A total of 24 people died. 202 people sought medical help; 68 of them were hospitalised, including 4 children, and 110 received outpatient care.
- All the bodies of those killed as a result of the invaders' missile strike on Vinnytsia have been identified.
