President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honoured the memory of Oleksandr Kukurba, pilot and hero of Ukraine, who died defending Ukraine on 26 July.

Major Kukurba died in battle yesterday. It was his hundredth combat sortie. A real Ukrainian hero who we will always remember."

On 26 July, a 28-year-old military pilot Oleksandr Kukurba,, Hero of Ukraine from Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, died during hostilities with the Russian occupiers.
