Details: Haidai said that Russian forces are continuing their attempts to capture the entire territory of Luhansk Oblast so that they can report this achievement to their military and political leaders. Fighting in the Oblast is continuing around the clock.

Quote from Haidai: "After having captured the city of Lysychansk relatively quickly, the enemy is now unable to traverse a distance smaller than the area of that city. They’re taking a scorched-earth approach, and suffering significant losses for each kilometre they are able to capture.

The occupiers attempted to conduct assault operations near Spirne and Serebrianka – two villages in Donetsk Oblast situated near the administrative border with Luhansk Oblast. Our Armed Forces opened fire on the Russian army, forcing it to retreat.

The same scenario was repeated on seven other occasions as [the Russians] attempted to attack from different directions. Fighting is continuing on two axes."

More details: The Luhansk Oblast Military Administration stressed that Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes near 10 towns and villages in Luhansk Oblast on 13 August. The Russians also carried out missile strikes on the Oblast.

On the night of 13 August, Russian artillery units used tubed and rocket artillery to shell towns and villages of Luhansk Oblast a total of 15 times.
