Ukrainian Air Force carries out 4 attacks on concentrations of Russian military – Operational Command Pivden (South)

The Ukrainian Air Force has struck a concentration of Russian military forces in the South.

Details: In the course of the counterattack, the Russian military suffered fire damage and were forced to withdraw to their original positions with the loss of tanks, armoured vehicles and military personnel. Two Russian PoWs supplemented the Ukrainian PoW exchange fund.

In response, the Russian military attempted an attack on the Oleksandrivka Stanislav axis with a mechanised squad. They failed and retreated with losses.

The aggressors’ air force attacked Ukrainian positions and settlements along the line of contact seven times. There were no losses for the Ukrainians.

Russian Smerch MLRS fired on the Mykolaiv region during the day.  In Halitsynove, several residential buildings were damaged, a fire station building along with a fire engine were destroyed, and a civilian was injured. Port infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv itself came under attack once again. No casualties have been reported.

The Ukrainian Air Force carried out four strikes on the concentration of Russian manpower, weapons and equipment in Bashtanka and Beryslav districts.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units completed over 200 fire missions. 

In the course of these missions they also disrupted Russian plans to repair and continue to use the Kakhovka Bridge.

Confirmed Russian losses currently amount to 73 invaders, 3 tanks, 4 launch platforms and 1 S-300 air defence system radar station, 5 armoured and motor vehicles, and 1 ammunition depot. Final Russian losses are being ascertained.
