Details: Vilkul also called upon locals not to film anything and not to post anything on social media. Telegram channels have been publishing photos of a column of smoke at the site of one of the strikes in the city.

At 17:31, Vilkul reported that the Russians had fired missiles on Kryvyi Rih and asked citizens to stay in shelters.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the Deputy Head of the Office of the President, later said that 8 Russian cruise missiles had hit the city of Kryvyi Rih

He called the occupiers’ actions a "terrorist act" against Ukrainians because "the missiles were targeted at facilities that are critically important for providing people with vital services."

Tymoshenko urged people not to panic and added that the appropriate services are now working to cope with the aftermath of missile strikes.

At 19:47, Valentyn Reznichenko, the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, reported that the Russians had fired seven X-22 cruise missiles from strategic bombers on critical and transport infrastructure facilities.

The attacks have caused serious damage to hydrotechnical facilities. Several districts of Kryvyi Rih have been left without water.
