Quote: "Over 4,000 representatives of enemy units, traitors and collaborators have been identified so far; they are involved in organising illegal plebiscites in Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts."

Details: The SSU reported that among those identified, there are representatives of Russia’s armed forces, representatives from the "Ministries of Internal Affairs" created by the Russian occupiers on Ukrainian territories, and heads of the so-called "territorial election commissions".

The SSU explained that units of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and the military police of the Russian Armed Forces are ensuring the "security" of the sham referendums. They are aided by collaborators from occupation administrations and private security forces controlled by the special forces of the Russian Federation.

The SSU noted that Ukrainian law enforcement has gathered information about all organisers of illegal activities [related to the sham referendums - ed.], including their locations and routes [that they usually travel]. Their criminal activities have been rigorously documented.

Criminal proceedings were initiated against all these actions under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 5 of Article 111-1 (collaboration) and Part 2 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

"We are taking comprehensive measures to bring the perpetrators to justice," the SSU concluded.
