Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill supports mobilisation in Russia

Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, has spoken in a sermon of his support for mobilisation in Russia, saying that this will help to "reconcile" Ukraine and Russia.

Quote from Kirill: "We have lived to see a fateful time, and in a fateful time we must renew our faith, sharpen our consciousness and our memory, and look differently at many things which only yesterday we looked at without any attention or special care. And then this spiritual mobilisation of ours, which I now call on everyone to do, will also help to mobilise all the forces of our fatherland."
Details: According to the Russian Patriarch, mobilisation will help "reconciliation", which will allow Ukraine to be brought into the common space of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Kirill is also convinced that "reconciliation", as it is understood by the Russian Orthodox Church, should not follow the path of "dangerous compromises".
