Russia loses 400 military personnel, 1 plane and 12 UAVs in past 24 hours – General Staff

Russian occupying forces lost around 400 military personnel, one fixed-wing aircraft and 12 UAVs over the course of Tuesday, 27 September. The General Staff reports that one Russian missile has also been shot down.

Details: Russian forces suffered their greatest losses on the Kramatorsk and Donetsk fronts.

Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 28 September 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]: 

  • Approximately 58,150 (+400) military personnel;
  • 2,312 (+6) tanks;
  • 4,889 (+8) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 1,381 (+3) artillery systems;
  • 331 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 175 (+0) air defence systems;
  • 262 (+1) fixed-wing aircraft;
  • 224 (+0) helicopters;
  • 989 (+12) operational-tactical UAVs;
  • 242 (+1) cruise missiles;
  • 15 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 3,742 (+12) vehicles and tankers;
  • 131 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.
