Following the gun battle that ensued, the enemy sustained losses (enemy troops were wounded and killed) and retreated.

In the afternoon, [the Russians] deployed multiple-launch rocket systems [MLRS] to attack the Apostolove hromada [an administrative unit designating the city of Apostolove and its adjacent territories - ed.] in Kryvyi Rih Oblast. There were no casualties."

Details: Operational Command Pivden (South) additionally reported that Russian forces deployed naval-based Kalibr cruise missiles to attack Ukraine on the evening of 13 October. Ukraine’s air defence forces shot down one of the missiles, which targeted Odesa Oblast.

Russian aircraft (an assault jet and a helicopter) carried out two airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian forces near Davydiv Brid. The Ukrainian forces sustained no losses in the attack.

The command added that Ukrainian aircraft carried out more than three times as many airstrikes which were, moreover, of more effective orders of magnitude: four Russian air defence systems were struck in the Beryslav and Kakhovka districts, as well as three concentrations of manpower, weapons and equipment in the Mykolaiv, Bashtanka and Kherson districts.

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery carried out more than 190 firing missions, destroying two Uragan and Grad MLRS and a [TOS-1] Solntsepyok MLRS, an electronic warfare system, two 120-mm mortars, three tanks, and three command posts of the 35th Combined Arms Army.

Ukrainian forces shot down two Russian Orlan-10 UAVs, which Russian forces deployed to conduct aerial reconnaissance.
