Ukrainian Air Force strikes Russian positions and air defence systems 11 times in south

Ukrainian military pilots have carried out 11 airstrikes on areas where Russian soldiers and their weaponry were concentrated, as well as the positions of their air defence systems, on the southern defence frontiers.

Details: According to the report from the Command, Russian forces are continuing to carry out missile attacks on the front-line Bereznehuvate (Mykolaiv Oblast) hromada [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed.]. They have attacked agricultural territories four times using Smerch MLRS. This time, there were no casualties.

Russians have shelled the Kutsurub hromada along the coastline with heavy artillery - no casualties or fatalities have been reported. 

Besides, Russian troops have attacked the Velyka Oleksandrivka hromada in Beryslav district (Kherson Oblast) four times using army and attack aircraft. 

Ukrainian defenders have carried out 11 airstrikes in response on areas of concentration of manpower and weaponry, as well as the positions of their air defence systems.

Additionally, rocket and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have performed more than 250 fire missions.

The Operational Command Pivden (South) has confirmed the Russian army’s losses as being 22 soldiers, 4 tanks, 2 mortars, 1 Akatsiia self-propelled large-calibre howitzer, 1 Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system, and 3 armoured vehicles.

Moreover, two ammunition storage points in Beryslav District were destroyed. One more tank, one Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, one Grad multiple-rocket launcher, and four armoured vehicles were damaged.
