Quote from Khorunzhyi: "Up to 45 rescuers have died and over 100 rescuers have been injured since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion."

Details: Khorunzhyi reported that the rescuers are ready for any challenge and they "are not afraid of attacks by the Russian Federation, the use of drones, missiles etc."

He noted that he "had not heard any complaints from any rescuers; everyone, gritting their teeth and clenching their fists, repulsed the Russian aggressor at their own level."

Khorunzhyi added that every day, about 7,000 rescuers are on duty, ready to fulfil all sorts of tasks. But that number, 7,000, can change depending on the current challenges and workloads.
