Details: One of the sources has reported that the Russians have launched 10 Shahed drones.

Yurii Ihnat has explained that the air-raid siren is sounded when there is a threat of an attack.

Quote: "If the air-raid siren is sounded then there is a threat. We cannot make any comments so far, because if an air-raid siren is activated, then clearly there is a threat, and accordingly, combat operations are underway. We will make comments as soon as we have the results.

Strikes, including with the use of the Shahed drones are likely. Russians have these drones in the south of Ukraine as well as in Russia and Belarus. It is not the first time that they attack Kyiv from Belarus; the drones are flying along the Dnipro River."

Details: Ihnat noted that it is somewhat easier to shoot down drones during the daytime because the aim is more visible.

During the daytime Ukrainian Air Force can also use more means for downing Shahed drones including large-calibre machine guns, anti-aircraft weapons, multiple-launch rocket systems, mobile fire teams and aircraft.
