Russia needs at least a week to withdraw troops from Kherson – Ukraine’s Defence Minister

Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defence of Ukraine, has said that Russia will need at least a week to withdraw its troops from Kherson.

Details: Reznikov said that despite announcing the retreat of its troops, Russia still has 40,000 troops in Kherson Oblast, the city of Kherson, the areas around the city and on the west bank of the Dnipro River.

Reznikov additionally said Russia might beef up its units in the neighbouring Zaporizhzia Oblast, which has also been partially occupied for months.

Previously: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated 41 towns and villages in southern Ukraine.
