Missile engine washed ashore in Romania

An object, which experts identify as a missile engine, has been carried by sea waves to the coast of the spit along the Razelm estuary in Romania.
Source: Digi24 television channel; European PravdaOn 15 January, a part of the missile was found on the coast adjacent to the territory of the Gura Portiței hotel. It is dozens of kilometres away from the southernmost point of Odesa and the town of Vylkove.
Romanian services experts have identified the object as a missile propulsion engine.
Quote: "It was taken away and will be handed over to the relevant structures of the Ministry of Defence. The object does not pose any danger, it is a component that guides the missile," the Dobruja Emergencies Service branch reported. 

Background:
  • Naval mines were repeatedly washed ashore in Romania and Bulgaria during the past year. 
  • The missile fragments fell on Moldova's territory for the third time during the full-scale war during the last Russian missile onslaught against Ukraine on 14 January.
