When the journalist started talking to the studio, a missile hit less than a kilometre away from him. The explosion managed to get into the frame, after which they [the film crew - ed.] caught themselves and fell to the ground.

When the journalists moved to another place, they went back on the air and described their experience. According to them, the team was scared, but no one was injured.

The live broadcast took place on 2 January at around 20:00 Paris time. A fragment of the video was later republished by numerous mass media outlets.

Earlier, we reported that on 2 January, Björn Stritzel, a German journalist from Bild, was slightly injured near the contact line in Ukraine.

A journalist from Japan was injured during a missile attack on Kyiv on 31 December. Earlier, Italian journalists came under fire near Kherson.
