US sends over 60 Bradley fighting vehicles to Ukraine

The US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) has announced the shipment of the first batch of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.

Details: USTRANSCOM states that a shipment of over 60 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles left the shores of North Charleston, South Carolina, for Ukraine.

The Bradleys will "provide the Ukrainian forces with additional offensive and defensive capabilities to protect their borders against Russia’s illegal invasion".

Background: Reportedly, the first Bradley infantry fighting vehicles should arrive in Ukraine in the "relatively near future".
