At the request of TV2, the Norwegian Ministry of Defence reported they are preparing a large package of military aid and are constantly evaluating relevant opportunities.

"The government is constantly considering whether Norway should send more weapons or equipment to Ukraine. We do not comment on such assessments or any current or future arms supplies," said the head of the department, Bjorn Arild Gram.

As Militarnyi writes, a modernised version of the CV 9030N is in service in Norway, developed by a consortium of BAE Systems and Bofors. According to the latest data, the country has 164 of these IFVs.

The CV 9030N is armed with a 30 mm Bushmaster II automatic cannon and has an additional landing commander's hatch on the right side in the aft part of the BMP. In addition, the vehicle’s armor  can withstand the impact of 30-mm projectiles.

It is already known that Norway is among several European countries that have promised to supply Western-style tanks to Ukraine. The mass media reported that Norway is considering the possibility of supplying Ukraine with up to 8 Leopard 2 tanks.
