Launch of Shahed drones on Kyiv Oblast: high-rise building and 12 private houses damaged

Twelve private houses and one high-rise building have been damaged as a result of falling debris in Kyiv Oblast. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has shared photos showing the effects of the Russian drone strike on Kyiv Oblast early on 11 July.

Details: The ministry reported that fragments of Shahed drones had been found in a Kyiv Oblast settlement.

They damaged the windows in a private residential building and several outbuildings on its grounds. Grass outside the building caught fire.

The Internal Ministry said it had no information about casualties.

Emergency response services were deployed to the site where the drone fragments crashed.

Update: Later, Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that 12 private buildings and one high rise building had been damaged as a result of falling debris in two districts of Kyiv Oblast. But the damage, according to him, is minor: broken windows, doors, facades, roofs.

No strikes were recorded, and there are no casualties.

Grassy areas also caught fire in several places as a result of falling debris. The fires have been extinguished.

Previously: Russia launched Shahed-136 attack drones on Kyiv on the morning of 11 July, but Ukraine’s air defence forces downed all of them.
