Russians claim no UAV reached their target in Sevastopol

The so-called authorities of occupied Sevastopol have claimed that Russian air defence forces and the fleet repelled a drone attack on the city on the night of 15-16 July, and that none of the UAVs reached their target.

Quote: "Last night, air defence forces, the navy and electronic warfare units repelled an attack by enemy UAVs on Sevastopol over the sea near Khersones, in the area of Sevastopol Bay and Balaklava.

One UAV was shot down over the sea and five more were downed by electronic warfare forces. Two surface drones were also destroyed on an external raid (the outer waters near the seaport – ed.)."

Details: According to Razvozhayev, "the attack was large-scale and long-lasting". At the same time, he has claimed that "no facilities, neither in the city nor in the water area, were damaged".

Later, Razvozhayev added that another drone was shot down near Cape Manhanari.

"In total, two UAVs were shot down last night and five were downed by electronic warfare forces. Two surface drones were also destroyed during an external raid," Razvozhayev summed up.
