Explosions were heard in occupied Melitopol and Melitopol district

In the centre of temporarily occupied Melitopol, an explosion occurred on the afternoon of 18 July; it was also loud in the Melitopol district.

Quote from Fedorov: "It's loud on the Melitopol front. Residents heard one powerful explosion in the central part of the city in Melitopol."

Details: According to Fedorov, residents heard five more powerful explosions in Mykhailivka, Melitopol district.   

The mayor added that they are now clarifying what exactly happened.

The Russians also reported an explosion but claimed that the air defence was deployed.

Propagandists from RIA Novosti posted a video with a missile trail in the sky.
