Valentyna realised she would not be able to pull her husband out from under the chunk of missile herself, so she asked her neighbours for help. The injured man was taken to hospital with broken ribs.

Quote: "I jumped up, and everything was blurry. At first I thought it was because of my eyesight, as I recently had an operation. I didn’t understand where the debris and pieces of wood had come from.

I ran to my husband right away - he was asleep in the room next to mine. I went in and saw that he was trapped under something. It looked like a barrel or something, I didn’t understand. I tried to remove it but he cried out: 'Don’t touch it, it hurts'."

Details: The Odesa Oblast Prosecutor’s Office has initiated a criminal proceeding with respect to the violation of the laws and customs of war concerning the attack.

The Patrol Police have posted a video taken from the body cameras of the officers who arrived at the scene.
