Russian forces attack Sumy Oblast, striking it over 50 times

Over the course of 12 August, Russian forces attacked Sumy Oblast five times, causing 49 explosions.

Details: Russian forces launched four mortar bombs on the Krasnopillia hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a city, town or village and its adjacent territories - ed.]

Russian forces also deployed mortars to fire on the Znob-Novhorod hromada, causing 35 explosions.

The Russians also launched nine mortar bombs on the Bilopillia hromada.

Russian mortar attacks also caused an explosion in the Nova Sloboda hromada.

The Sumy Oblast Military Administration added there were no casualties and civilian infrastructure facilities were not damaged, either.
