On 29 August, Ukraine brought back the bodies of 84 more deceased defenders.

Quote from Kotenko: "The bodies of servicemen who gave their lives for Ukraine have been handed over. Today, the bodies of 84 defenders were brought back to their families."

Details: He added that the repatriation of the bodies from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine took place with the assistance of a number of agencies, law enforcement agencies and international organisations.

"The process of bringing back the bodies of fallen Ukrainian servicemen continues. It is taking place in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention," Kotenko concluded.

On 29 August, Ukraine commemorates the defenders who died in the fight for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
