Razvozhayev said that air defence systems were activated in Sevastopol. Early reports suggest that the air defence intercepted an air attack from the direction of the Black Sea.

The Russian Ministry of Defence reported that a drone was shot down at 22.30 by their air defence 10 kilometres from the southwestern coast of the Crimean Peninsula.
