Ukrainian delegation en route to Abu Dhabi for talks with Russia and US

The Ukrainian negotiating team has departed for Abu Dhabi, where a new round of trilateral talks with representatives of Ukraine, the United States and Russia will take place on 4 and 5 February.

Details: Zelenskyy said the Ukrainian team continues to work with the US side "so that real decisions for the sake of peace can be scaled up".
"Today, there was a meeting with our delegation – the guys are already en route. The meetings will take place on Wednesday and Thursday," the president noted.
He added that there will be bilateral talks with the US in addition to the trilateral format.
Quote: "There are issues to be agreed upon; there is substance that requires further work. On security guarantees – we are ready. On Ukraine's recovery and further development – government officials are working, and our teams are actively engaged."
Background:
- Earlier on Monday, Zelenskyy stated that he had set specific tasks for the negotiating team ahead of the meetings with Russia and the US.
- US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will reportedly attend the next round of Ukraine-Russia talks in Abu Dhabi on 4 and 5 February.
