Explosions in temporarily occupied Crimea: reports claim strikes on FSB building and Tavriyskaya Thermal Power Plant – photos

Explosions were heard across temporarily occupied Crimea in the evening and on the night of 21-22 June. Reports in social media have said that a building used by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) Border Service in Armiansk was struck and that drones targeted the Tavriyskaya Thermal Power Plant.

Details: Reports of explosions in various parts of Crimea began to emerge on the evening of 21 June.
According to Telegram channels, loud explosions were heard in Armiansk (in Crimea's Perekop district), where a fire broke out near the railway station.
Social media users also reported hearing explosions and gunfire in Feodosiia, Sevastopol and other parts of Crimea.
Later, reports emerged of power outages in several areas of Crimea, including Feodosiia, Sevastopol and Kerch.
The Russian occupation authorities issued a warning of a drone threat across Crimea on the evening of 21 June.
Update: Krymskyi Veter later reported that, according to its information, a building used by Russia's FSB Border Service near Armiansk railway station had been struck and a fire had broken out there.

The explosion was followed by secondary detonations, possibly of ammunition.

"There is a smell of burning hanging over the city," one Telegram channel wrote.
In addition, reports in social media said that drones had also hit the Tavriyskaya Thermal Power Plant, which had also been targeted on 20 June.
The Russian occupation authorities announced on the morning of 22 June that the Crimean Bridge was temporarily closed to traffic.
