The contract covers the supply of Shrike FPV drones manufactured by major Ukrainian producer SkyFall and equipped with software from American defence technology company Auterion. These drones are designed for autonomous tracking and striking of moving targets in the final phase of flight.

Auterion CEO Lorenz Meier confirmed the size of the contract, noting that it is financed by a European country. According to the CEO, some of the drones have already been delivered to Ukraine, with the rest to be dispatched this year.

SkyFall confirmed Germany's involvement in the purchase but said the company cannot comment on the details of the contract.

Ukraine's and Germany's Ministries of Defence declined to comment.
