Derhachi in Kharkiv Oblast completely without power after Russian attack

The city of Derhachi, located north-west of Kharkiv, and surrounding settlements have been completely cut off from electricity following a Russian strike on an energy infrastructure facility.

Details: Experts are working to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack. The duration of the work will depend on the scale of the damage and the threat of repeat strikes.

The city's centralised water supply network is operating according to a blackout schedule. Pumps will supply water to the system from 06:30 to 09:00, from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 19:00 to 22:00 until the situation in the energy system stabilises.

"If the power does not return within a day, we will set up special centres where people will be able to charge electronic devices and use the internet," Zadorenko wrote.

Background: Some consumers in five regions of Ukraine have been left without electricity due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. However, no consumption restrictions are forecasted for 29 September.
