Details: Syniehubov said that the fighting for Izium continues, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding positions in the area. About 2,500 people were evacuated from one of the settlements near Izium to prevent possible "adverse consequences".
"This does not mean that we are losing our positions; we are taking a few steps forward. Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the evacuation took place without shelling," said the head of the Kharkiv Military Administration.
He also said that during the day, the Ukrainian army managed to destroy 4 Russian planes - 1 fighter and 3 bombers.
