Since the Russian Federation’s full-scale military aggression, 870,000 Ukrainians have returned to their homeland.

Details: The spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Service stated that, in the first days of the war, the number of Ukrainian citizens returning to Ukraine was not large: in the order of 10,000, predominantly men. At present, 25,000 to 30,000 Ukrainians, including many women, children and elderly persons, are returning to their homeland every day.

According to Demchenko, since 24 February, on the whole 4,300,000 Ukrainian citizens have crossed the State border with countries of the European Union and Moldova in both directions. Up to three million Ukrainians have left Ukraine. In addition, approximately 350,000 foreigners have entered the country.
