According to the General Staff: "Units of Russian troops from the Kursk, Briansk, and Voronezh regions are being relocated to Ukraine. Units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation stationed on the territory of Ukraine are experiencing serious supply issues. However, they have been able to gather significant supplies of ammunition.

Dissatisfaction is growing among the personnel in those units of the occupiers’ forces on the line of fire, and their moral and psychological state remains depressed. Russian troops are complaining about the lack of rotation, frequent equipment failures, and the quality of fuel and food supplied."

Details: There was no active fighting on the Volyn and Polissya fronts. Certain units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to carry out tasks to cover the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Brest and Gomel regions.

On the Siverskyi front, there is a possibility of missile strikes and artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation on military and civilian infrastructure in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

There are no changes in the composition or position of the Russian forces on the Slobozhanskyi front. The occupiers continue to partially block the city of Kharkiv and shell its residential areas.

On the Donetsk and Tavriia fronts, Russian troops continued to launch air strikes on Mariupol and conducted assault operations near the Mariupol seaport.

Units of the 810th and 155th Separate Marine brigades of the Russian army are preparing for a naval landing operation. This information is currently being confirmed.

On the South Bug front, the main efforts of Russian troops are focused on maintaining their positions.

According to the available information, representatives of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation took part in testing the combat capability of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Separate Motorised Infantry Brigades of the Transnistrian Armed Forces in the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic. The units were deemed not ready for combat operations.

In the Ukrainian territories temporarily occupied by Russian troops, looting and violence on civilians continues, encouraged by Russian military command.

In the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 10 Russian attacks were repulsed; 15 tanks, 24 units of armoured equipment, 10 units of automotive equipment, and 3 artillery systems were destroyed on 16 April.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has shot down 13 air targets: 1 plane, 1 helicopter, 5 UAVs, and 6 cruise missiles.
