205 children have died in Russia’s war against Ukraine; teenager injured in a detonation in Kyiv region

According to preliminary data, more than 567 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression by Russia: 205 children have been killed and more than 362 children have been injured.

According to the official data of juvenile prosecutors, the highest number of affected children was in Donetsk region - 117, followed by the Kyiv region - 107, Kharkiv region - 91, Chernihiv region - 54, Kherson region - 43, Mykolaiv region - 40, Luhansk region - 36, Zaporizhzhia region - 23, Kyiv - 16, Sumy region - 16, Zhytomyr region - 15 ".

Details: It was reported that an 11-year-old girl died on 2 March in Kharkiv as a result of shelling by the occupiers of the premises of the Ivan Kozhedub National Air Force University. 

A 13-year-old girl died on 30 March due to injuries received as a result of the shelling of the village Vilkhivka in the Kharkiv region.

On 15 April, a 17-year-old boy was injured in the detonation of an unidentified explosive device in the Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region.

Bombing and shelling by Russian armed forces have damaged 1,018 educational institutions, 95 of which were completely destroyed.

In Mariupol, authorities estimated that there were nearly 5,000 deaths as of 27 March, including 210 children. As of 15 March, Mayor Petro Andriushchenko's adviser gave a cautious estimate of 20,000 deaths.
