Humanitarian corridors: 7 routes to run on 5 April, ICRC representatives released near Mariupol

Seven humanitarian corridors are planned for 5 April, including from Mariupol and Berdiansk using private vehicles and evacuation buses, as well as from Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region, Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Popasna and Hirske in the Luhansk region.

According to Vereshchuk: "Despite promises by their leadership, the occupying forces are not allowing anyone to enter Mariupol.

The occupiers have blocked representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the town of Manhush. After negotiations, they were released during the night and sent off towards Zaporizhzhia."

Details: 7 humanitarian corridors are planned for Tuesday 5 April:

  • From Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia by private vehicles.
  • From Berdiansk to Zaporizhzhia by private vehicles.

Also, from Manhush to Berdiansk, 7 buses accompanied by the International Committee of the Red Cross are going to collect people in the city for evacuation to Zaporizhzhia.

Fifteen buses for the evacuation of people from Berdiansk are now waiting at the checkpoint in Vasylivka. After this convoy of buses passes, additional buses are planned to be sent from Zaporizhzhia to Berdiansk.

  • From the city of Tokmak to Zaporizhzhia. It is planned to dispatch evacuation buses with humanitarian aid from the city of Zaporizhzhia by 10:00.
  • From the city of Sievierodonetsk to Bakhmut. Assembly point: 28, Khimikov Avenue.
  • From the town of Lysychansk to Bakhmut. Assembly point: RTI, 40 Let Pobedy, 324 Sosyura Street.
  • From the town of Popasna to Bakhmut. Assembly point: 42, Pervomaiskaya Street.
  • From the village of Hirske to Bakhmut. Assembly point: 13 Gagarin Street.
