Occupiers hit Mykolaiv with 3 cruise missiles, resulting in one casualty – Pivden Operational Command

The Russian occupiers attacked Mykolaiv with 3 ground-based cruise missiles from within the territory of the occupied Kherson region.

Details: The missiles hit the executive and social infrastructure of the city. One person was wounded.

The Ukrainian air defence hit two more Russian cruise missiles in the skies above the Odesa region.

Background:

•       Oleksandr Sienkevych, the mayor of Mykolaiv, reported that powerful explosions occurred in his city on the morning of June 23.
•       On 22 June, Russian forces fired on Mykolaiv with seven missiles. The attack caused a massive fire on the territory of a private company where sunflower oil was stored. Apartment blocks and private houses were damaged and three civilians were wounded.
