Details: Haidai added that the Russians have deployed almost all their forces in an effort to capture Lysychansk and are firing on the city from all types of weapons available.

On 29 June, Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes on the oil refinery site and near Vovchoiarivka, razing a police station to the ground.

Haidai noted that Russian saboteurs frequently attempt to enter Lysychansk. The Armed Forces of Ukraine intercepted and destroyed one such sabotage and reconnaissance group near Verkhniokamianka.

Much of Lysychansk's housing has sustained damage. A woman’s body was found in a basement of one of the damaged buildings after a fire was extinguished there.

The Russian occupation army continues to fire on the territories along the Siverskyi Donets River, from both the Sievierodonetsk and the Lysychansk sides [the two cities stand on the opposite banks of the river - ed.]. The area of Donsoda [a soda factory in Lysychansk - ed.] is under near-constant fire.

Russian forces continue their attempt to blockade Lysychansk and establish control over part of the main road between Lysychansk and Bakhmut.
