Russian forces hit Industrialnyi district of Kharkiv

On the afternoon of 12 July, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv once again, hitting the Industrialnyi district of the city.

Quote: "The Russians attacked the Industrialnyi district in Kharkiv. We appeal to Kharkiv residents: stay in shelters, do not go out on the streets unnecessarily. Be as careful as possible!"

Details: Local residents started reporting explosions in  the Industrialnyi district  at around 13:30.

In Kharkiv, the threat of artillery shelling is announced periodically and  air raid sirens sound.

As of 3:49 p.m., 4 people were injured as a result of shelling in the Industrial district.

Background: 

• On the morning of 10 July, Russian rockets hit the Kharkiv districts of   Osnovianskyi and Slobidskyi.
• On the night of 11 July  Russian forces  launched 3 missile strikes on Kharkiv. They hit a multi-storey apartment  building, a school in of Slobidskyi district and warehouses in the Osnovianskyi district. 
• On 11 July, at about 10:00, Russian military shelled  residential areas of the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv with multiple rocket launchers,  6 civilians were killed, and 31 people were injured as a result.
• On the night of 12 July, Russian forces launched another missile strike on Kharkiv: two rockets hit near the buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
