Russians fire on Staryi Saltiv, killing two people

On 10 August, the Russian military fired cluster munitions on Staryi Saltiv in Kharkiv Oblast, killing two people.

Details: On 10 August, around 12:00, the Russian forces once again attacked liberated territories near Vovchansk, in Chuhuiv district. This time, Russian soldiers fired on the village of Staryi Saltiv, which is under Ukraine’s control.
Two people died on the spot from their injuries.
Employees of police department No. 1 of the Chuhuiv district police have established that the shelling was carried out with cluster munitions.
"The Russian occupiers deliberately targeted residential buildings," the police maintained.
The investigators have opened criminal proceedings with respect to this incident under Part 2 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction stipulated in this article is imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
