Podoliak shows how the Russians place Grad MLRS near residential buildings and fire on cities

The Russian occupiers are placing their Grad MLRS in the yards of Ukrainian residential buildings and are firing on nearby towns, using local residents as hostages.

Quote from Podoliak: "Daily war routine. RF military stations HRADs in courtyards of residential buildings and shells neighboring towns, using the residents as hostages. Has @amnesty already released another clickbait alarmist report? Or still continue to pretend that nothing is happening?"

Details: Podoliak also has published a video in which the occupiers are seen firing from a residential area.

Background:

  • On 4 August the human rights organisation Amnesty International claimed that the Ukrainian forces which are holding back the Russian invasion are endangering the civilian population by establishing bases and storing weapons in schools and hospitals. At the same time, there is not a single word on the organisation's website about the mass murder of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Olenivka and condemnation of the actions of the occupiers who killed the captured defenders of Ukraine.
  • In response, the Office of the President of Ukraine stated that the lives of Ukrainians are threatened only by the Russian army, and Amnesty International's statements are nothing more than participation in Russia's discrediting campaign against Ukraine. Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that he was outraged by Amnesty International's statement and considered it unfair.
  • President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has denounced the selectivity of Amnesty International’s report. He believes that the organisation is in effect granting amnesty to a terrorist state and shifting blame from the perpetrator of crimes to their victim.
  • The Ukrainian office of the human rights organisation Amnesty International said that it was not involved in authoring or distributing the Amnesty International report, and Oksana Pokalchuk, the head of the Ukrainian office, resigned after the organisation's scandalous report.
