Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine and his adviser Mykhailo Podoliak responded to the explosions next to Dzhankoi in social media. Yermak posted a picture with the caption "I really like these blasts" [here Yermak uses the word ‘бавовна’ which also means ‘cotton’ in Ukrainian, which has since become a meme – ed.] , and Podoliak wrote that explosions at ammunition storages are "demilitarisation as it is".

Earlier in the morning, the mass media reported on explosions and a fire in the Dzhankoi area, and one of the leaders of the Crimean Tatars, Refat Chubarov, citing sources on the peninsula, said that "an ammunition depot was hit."

In addition, there was a fire at a transformer substation in the north of Crimea, it was extinguished.

According to some information, a railway passes nearby, which the Russians use to deliver military equipment to the mainland of Ukraine.
