Media demonstrates impact of attack by Armed Forces of Ukraine near Skadovsk

These satellite images by Planet.com record the impact of the Ukrainian attack on Russian storage facilities near Skadovsk in Kherson Oblast.

Radio Svoboda: "These satellite images taken by the Planet.com service on 2 August show signs of destruction and fires at the water purifying station (the video provides a comparison with an image dated 30 July). The image taken on 30 July also shows several vehicles, likely military equipment, in the field near the water purifying station."
Details: Reports of explosions near Skadovsk emerged on the evening of 31 July. Eyewitnesses posted photos and videos of the glow in the night sky.
Data from FIRMS (Fire Information for Resource Management System), which monitors fires using a satellite, together with the Wikimapia map, established that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an attack on the territory near the water purifying station 5 km east of Skadovsk.
Military equipment can be seen in satellite images taken prior to the explosions.

- In late June it was reported that Russian forces were shelling Mykolaiv from the territory of Skadovsk.
