Quote from Kotenko: "Currently, we are working on the exhumation of the bodies of servicemen. Then, the bodies will be handed over to experts for further identification of the victims.

Unfortunately, this is only the beginning of our work here; it is not yet known how many locations will be found in the liberated territories, but the harsh reality indicates that the number of dead people in Izium may be many times higher than [that of] the Bucha tragedy."

Details: According to Kotenko, they found one of the locations based on a video that the Russians had shared.

The bodies of almost 50 dead civilians were discovered in the liberated territory of Kharkiv Oblast, while a mass burial site with approximately 445 graves was discovered near Izium, Klymenko reported.

At the same time, he stressed that this number does not include the mass burial sites where the bodies have not yet been exhumed. He added that these bodies had been buried since March.

Background: A mass grave containing 440 bodies was found in the liberated city of Izium [Kharkiv region].
