Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 20 areas where invaders’ weapons were concentrated and 4 Russian air defence systems – General Staff

Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have carried out 24 strikes, hitting 20 areas where Russian weapons and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 4 anti-aircraft missile systems belonging to the Russian forces.

Quote: "There remains a threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine. For example, during the past day, the occupiers launched 10 missile and 19 air strikes, and carried out more than 90 attacks using MLRSs.

As a result, over the past day, the infrastructure and civilians of more than 30 settlements were affected. Zaporizhzhia, Sloviansk, Novobakhmutivka, Siversk, Belohorivka, Nikopol and Blahodativka are among them.

The Russian army used seven anti-aircraft guided missiles to attack Zaporizhzhia. Once again, the critical infrastructure of the city and the homes of peaceful civilians were affected."

Details: On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the situation has not changed significantly.

The Russian forces fired on other fronts:

• On the Sivershchyna front  - from mortars and tubed artillery, in the areas of settlements of Popivka, Starykove, Vorozhba, Yanzhulivka and Myropillia;
• On the Slobozhanshchyna front - from mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in the areas of settlements of Chervona Zoria, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Mali Prokhody, Vovchansk, Kamianka, Dvorichna and Hrinkivka;
• On the Kramatorsk front - from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery along the entire line of contact, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Pershotravneve, Siversk, Makiivka, Novoiehorivka, Stelmakhivka, Terny, Torske and Zarichne. Also, in the area of ​​the settlement of Svatove, the Russian army blew up railway and road bridge crossings;
• On the Bakhmut front - from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery along the entire line of contact, including near the settlements of Rozdolivka, Serebrianka, Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Zaitseve, Krasna Hora, Soledar. In addition, the occupiers mined the area near Berestove;
• On the Avdiivka front - tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery shelled the areas of the settlements of Avdiivka, Kamianka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Pisky, Krasnohorivka and Marinka;
• More than 20 settlements were damaged by fire on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts. In particular, Vuhledar, Novopil, Shakhtarske, Mali Shcherbaky, Velyka Novosilka, Malynivka and Mala Tokmachka;
• On the Pivdennyi Buh front, an attack by the invaders was recorded in the areas of more than 25 settlements along the entire line of contact. Near Dudchany, the Russian forces used an attack UAV. In total, the occupiers made up to 30 UAV sorties to conduct aerial reconnaissance.

The situation is critical in the 127th Rifle Regiment of the so-called 1st Army Corps. The hastily formed regiment was immediately transferred to the first line of combat in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts following a decision by the commander of the 49th Army.

Relatives of conscripted servicemen have prepared an appeal to the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation about the significant losses and inaction of the military command. There have been prolonged shortages of water and food in the units. Military personnel, at best, are equipped with old-fashioned protective equipment, which leads to numerous casualties.

Over the past day, units of the Defence Forces have repelled invaders’ attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ozarianivka, Kamianka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske.

Ukrainian Defence Forces aircraft have carried out 24 strikes during the past day. Damage to 20 areas where Russian weapons and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 4 anti-aircraft missile systems belonging to the Russian army, has been confirmed.

In addition, Ukrainian air defence units shot down 1 Su-25 Russian aircraft, 3 UAVs and 3 Kh-59 guided air missiles over the previous day.
