Russian missiles have hit critical infrastructure facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

Details: The head of the Oblast State Administration promised to provide more information later.

She called on locals to stay in shelters, as there is a threat of new missile strikes.

Onyshchuk also asked not to share "any photos, videos and assumptions" on social media so as not to help the Russian forces.

Background:

  • An air raid siren has been on since the morning of 10 October throughout Ukraine. The Russians struck a number of cities in a number of oblasts.
  • Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that so far, on 10 October, the Russians had launched 75 missiles on Ukraine within a few hours, 41 of which were shot down by air defence.
  • Due to Russian missile attacks on 10 October, transport traffic has been halted in Ivano-Frankivsk.
