Occupiers torture pensioner to death in Chaplynka and steal boots in Kherson

Russians have tortured a 62-year-old pensioner to death in the occupied village of Chaplynka in Kherson Oblast.

Quote: "We have received a message from the temporarily occupied village of Chaplynka that a 62-year-old man has been found dead with signs of violent death [on his body] after being kidnapped by Russian soldiers. The circumstances of the crime are being investigated."

Details: The Russian occupiers also abducted two people in the Skadovsk and Kherson districts – reportedly for their pro-Ukrainian stance. 

Russian soldiers stole fatigues, army boots and money in the centre of Kherson. 

In the Beryslav district, Russian invaders stole equipment, laboratory devices, vehicles, office equipment, household appliances and other assets from the territory of an agricultural company. 

Police investigators have initiated criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the rules and customs of war) with regard to all these facts, including attacks on the civilian population.

The police have initiated a total of 39 criminal proceedings against the Russian army in Kherson Oblast.
