Russian UAV shot down in Kyiv Oblast

On the evening of 17 October, Ukrainian air defence units shot down a Russian drone in Kyiv Oblast.

Details: The air raid siren has been sounded in Kyiv Oblast.
Updated at 20:43: The anti-aircraft defence systems have been activated in Brovary. According to the city’s mayor, there has been no destruction. Air Defence Forces are also operating in Boryspil.
Updated at 21:01: The mayor of Brovary reported that a Russian drone had been shot down.
