Quote from Tymoshenko: "Kherson Oblast: the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated over 2,400 square kilometres of Ukrainian land in southern Ukraine since the beginning of the war.

Six settlements have been liberated in the Kherson district and another 61 in the Beryslav district. Stabilisation measures have been undertaken in 19 settlements in the [Beryslav] district; evacuation of civilians is continuing apace."

Details: Tymoshenko said that electricity transformers were being repaired in the villages of Vorontsovka and Vysokopillia. Work has been carried out to restore mobile service in the villages of Zolota Balka and Havrylivka in the Beryslav district. One mobile service provider has already resumed coverage of the area; others are expected to follow suit shortly.

The representative of the President’s Office said that mobile service is expected to be restored in Novooleksandrivka and Davydiv Brid in the near future.

Tymoshenko also noted that critical infrastructure damaged in shelling is beyond repair in many of Kherson Oblast’s districts. This is the case in the villages of Arkhanhelske, Vysokopillia and Osokorivka. Humanitarian aid and drinking water are being delivered there.

Tymoshenko said that Ukrainian police officers are at work on the liberated territories of Kherson Oblast. They have documented 107 war crimes since the launch of the efforts to liberate the Oblast. The territory of the oblast is being cleared from mines and further stabilisation measures are also currently being undertaken.
