Bodies of civilians killed by occupiers found in liberated Kherson Oblast

Law enforcement officers have discovered the remains of bodies of three civilians in liberated territories of Kherson Oblast. The information available indicates that their skulls had been fractured.

Details: Initial examinations of the skeletal remains show physical injuries in the form of fractures to the skull. 

 

The remains have been sent away to undergo a set of forensic examinations, including DNA tests. 

A pre-trial criminal investigation into a violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Art. 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), is ongoing.
