Ukrainian aircraft strike Russian positions in southern Ukraine

Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aircraft carried out several airstrikes on Russian positions in retaliation for Russian attacks.

Details: Over the course of 12 November, Russian forces conducted artillery attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and on hromadas in the Beryslav district (Kherson Oblast) [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.].

There were no casualties or fatalities.

In retaliation, Ukrainian aircraft conducted two airstrikes on Russian positions.

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery fired on Russian positions and clusters of military personnel, weapons and equipment on the left bank of the River Dnipro throughout the day.

The operational command has confirmed that Russian forces have lost 40 military personnel and three armoured vehicles; other losses have yet to be confirmed.

The Russian flotilla in the Black Sea remains largely unchanged. It consists of 18 vessels, including 1 missile carrier armed with 8 Kalibr cruise missiles, which has been deployed for combat duty.
