Russians rob Energoatom lorries carrying equipment to Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant

The Russians have robbed State Enterprise National Nuclear Energy Generating Company (SE NNEGC) Energoatom lorries that were carrying critical equipment and replacement parts. The occupiers stole several dozen heaters necessary for the operation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP in winter.

At the checkpoint in Vasylivka, the occupiers forcefully unloaded the vehicles and ‘seized for their needs’ 45 heaters out of the 300 that were in the cargo. After that, the transport passed on."

Details: Energoatom emphasised that heaters are needed by the Zaporizhzhia NPP to maintain the temperature on the premises, as well as to create working conditions in the winter period when the plant does not produce electricity.
