Zelenskyy called Commander-in-Chief Meeting – discussed Belarus

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, held another Commander-in-Chief meeting on Sunday, 18 December. The situation in Belarus was the main issue on the agenda.

Details: The members of the meeting discussed the situation in Belarus. Information about the current strength and armament of the Russian military units was shared. The Commanders reported about the readiness of the Defence Forces of Ukraine to react to any outcome.

In addition, the process of dealing with the consequences of the large-scale Russian missile attack on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine was discussed as well.

The participants of the meeting were Andrii Yearmak, the head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, Oleksii Danilov, the secretary of the Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and commander of the operative axis troops.

Denys Monastyrskyi, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, heads of law enforcement agencies and other government members also joined the Commander-in-Chief meeting.
